What type of medications do you prescribe?
Doctors prescribe any medication that is required to treat your symptoms effectively. For some women this may mean hormonal treatment, while others require a low dose anti-depressant or holistic care.
Who can make an appointment
Any woman who is experiencing menopause related symptoms and wants information, questions answered and/or treatment.
How much does an appointment cost
This depends on the type and duration of consultation, but prices range from $25 - $250. Please check the "rates" tab on each doctors profile for additional details and/or enquire with the clinic before making an appointment.
Do your doctors write prescriptions?
Yes, doctors listed on our website are fully licensed in Singapore and may prescribe prescription medication if required to treat your symptoms.
Is a consultation with a Menopause doctor covered by my health insurance or Medisave?
This depends entirely on the type of health care insurance that you have and which provider you make an appointment with. Please check your insurance coverage for consults completed by a General Practitioner / Family doctors and or specialists like an OBGYN before making an appointment. After an appointment you will be provided with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance to claim back the money.
Are these doctors licensed to practice medicine in Singapore?
Yes, for all the medical doctors listed on our website we have checked that they have appropriate medical license to practice medicine in Singapore. However, we also have other non-medical practitioners listed on our platform such as Nutritionists and Personal trainers, that are highly educated and experienced but do not have a medical license (which they also do not require to have).
